Rabbi Sivan Mass

T'mura

 Rabbi Sivan Mass is one of the leaders of the worldwide movement for secular humanistic Judaism and the founder of the Israeli branch. She is the chair of “Secular Judaism”, the forum which brings together the activity in Israel, and serves as the Dean of T’mura, the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism, the institute for training secular humanistic leadership and rabbis.

Prof. Yaakov Malkin is an author, and was a lecturer of Esthetics and Rhetoric at Tel Aviv University until 1994, where he also founded the Department for Cinema and Television with Prof. Moshe Lazar. He is the founder and editor of the periodical “Free Judaism” (יהדות חופשית) from 1995. Since 2003 he has been the academic manager of the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism. Among his 20 books: “Judaism without God?: Judaism as Culture and Bible as Literature,” “The Garden of Epicurus: Atheism, Judaism. and the Pursuit of Happiness.”

Rabbi Dr. Adam Chalom is one of the leaders of secular humanistic Judaism, and the dean of the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism in North America. He was ordained as a Rabbi in 2001 and received his Doctorate in Jewish Studies from the University of Michigan in 2005. He is the rabbi of the Kol Hadash Community in Chicago, Illinois.
